Educational Authorities of Czech Republic

The quality assurance and accreditation process is performed by the Accreditation Commission of the Government of the Czech Republic, thereby enhancing the quality in higher education. The Accreditation Commission was set up in 1990 and is responsible for the complete evaluation of the scientific, teaching, research and development, and other activities of Czech Republic higher education institutions.

The Higher education council is a representative body of higher education institutions. It deals with the administration and management of higher education institutions, and matters related to development, activities and interests of universities and their teachers, students and staff. Also, give advice on education matters to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and other institutions.

Czech Rector’s Conference (CRC) is a representative body of Czech Republic’s higher education institutions- university as well as non-university types. It represents the Czech Republic higher education institutions in their dealings with the government and non-government bodies, mainly with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
